The Federation of Associations of Building Contractors Cyprus (O.S.E.O.K.), which is currently the only recognized - by the State, social partners and stakeholders - representative of contractors in the construction sector, works to promote and protect the interests of some 1000 members belonging to the Associations in a market where there are now 2650 registered, active, contractors. Furthermore, now that the Cypriot contractor, by no chance, is sought-after in the Arab world, Greece and other European countries, continuously accepting proposals for large private and public works, O.S.E.O.K works to provide all everything needed to respond successfully to this new challenge.
O.S.E.O.K. vision vaccination and creation of a new culture that will create the new Cypriot organized professional contractor, of a United Europe, who will have as principles and objectives the high quality of work, enforcement of legislation and collective agreements, the creation of a working environment with high safety and health conditions for workers, continuing education, information and knowledge about the industry and more, continuous development of professional and social awareness, the acquisition of a dynamic social identity of the Cypriot organized professional contractor and finally the emergence of the Federation as one of the strongest trade union organizations of the state.
O.S.E.O.K intensively and seriously deals with problems afflicting the construction industry.

The Federation, with painstaking effort, collegiality, unity and struggle, aims at a well-organized and properly controlled contractor that ensures quality of work and at the same time protects the public. In particular the efforts to inform the citizen / consumers (owners of a project) and the contractor about their obligations in carrying out a project, O.S.E.O.K created the 77778004 hotline for the citizen / consumer.
