The main activities of the Federation of Associations of Building Contractors Cyprus as listed in the statute are:
• The guidance of Associations of Building Contractors.
• Securing, protecting and promoting the interests and aspirations of all professional Building Contractors, who are members of Associations of Contractors through any legal form or activity, in particular by ensuring cooperation and solidarity between the contractors / employers to address mutual problems, either among themselves or with third parties and to consider any matter affecting the construction industry in general.
• Collaboration with other professional bodies in Cyprus and abroad, to promote and protect the professional, economic and social interests of members.
• The collection either by members or other sources of statistical data or other information related to the activities of Members of the Associations or deemed necessary or helpful to the aspirations of the objectives of the Federation.
• Monitoring of local and international situation, developments and activities in the governmental, legislative or any other field relevant to the purposes and objectives of the Federation and to promote or refute government bills and counsel its members for all of the above.
• The printing and publishing newspapers, magazines or leaflets, which the Federation believes that it is desirable to promote its aims.
• The negotiation and conclusion of collective agreements.
• The writing and revision of Contracting Contracts.
• The adoption of decisions through counter - strikes (LOCK OUT) or other measures taken by the member associations.
• The publication of wage rates indicators.
